We offer appointments from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday and 9:00 am to 11:00am on Saturday.

Patients are seen by appointment only, Monday to Friday. Please ring 8952 2000 from 8:00 am onwards to make an appointment. Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred doctor and time. Please note that whilst you are able to make an appointment for Saturday, patients may also choose to use our walk in service.

Most appointments are made in advance, however there are always some appointments available on the day. These appointments cannot be accessed in advance and are for patients with urgent medical matters.
Standard appointment times are 15 minutes. If you have a complex problem or more than one issue that needs to be discussed, please tell the receptionist when making your booking so a longer appointment can be arranged.

Please note that medical emergencies and sick children are always given priority. Our doctors spend as much time as necessary with every patient, so sometimes there are delays. Again you can help us by making a long appointment for complex or multiple problems.

If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, please contact us to cancel or change your appointment time. The full fee is charged to patients who miss two appointments (not claimable through Medicare).

Bath Street Family Medical Centre is a private billing practice and we do not routinely bulk bill. However, patients of the Practice with Centrelink Health Cards are eligible for a discounted fee. Department of Veterans’ Affairs is billed directly for DVA card holders. Please present your card to the reception team on arrival. Our fees are based on the Australian Medical Association schedule. Please ask our reception staff for a copy of our current fees. All private accounts must be paid at time of consultation. We accept cash, EFTPOS or credit cards.

For your convenience, we can process your claim through Medicare Easyclaim with your refund deposited into your nominated bank account within 48 hours. You will need to register your bank details with Medicare to take advantage of this service. Alternatively you can take your printed receipt to the Medicare office to claim your rebate.
