Australian Visa Medicals

Bath Street Fam­i­ly Med­ical Cen­tre is a Bupa approved Visa Med­ical Provider. Please care­ful­ly read the fol­low­ing infor­ma­tion so you are ful­ly pre­pared when book­ing an appointment.

Pre Exam­i­na­tion Booking

In order to book an appoint­ment for a Visa Med­ical, you will need to obtain the fol­low­ing items:

eMed­ical Refer­ral Letter

https://​www​.emed​ical​.immi​.gov​.au/​e​M​e​d​U​I​/​e​M​e​d​i​c​a​l​C​lient Reg­is­ter your details, fol­low the prompts and once you have filled out the My Health Dec­la­ra­tion” sec­tion of eMed­ical click Print Refer­ral Letter. 

Bupa Refer­ral Letter 

Go to http://​www​.bupamvs​.com​.au Click Make an appoint­ment.” Reg­is­ter your details and select Bath Street Fam­i­ly Med­ical Cen­tre as your Visa Med­ical Provider. BUPA will then send you a copy of your refer­ral let­ter. Alter­na­tive­ly, call 1300 794 919 to receive this referral. 

Inter­preter

If you need an Interpreter/​Translator for your health exam­i­na­tion, please con­tact the clin­ic at least 2 busi­ness days before your appoint­ment. A tele­phone Inter­preter will be booked on your behalf.
Please note, a friend or fam­i­ly mem­ber can­not trans­late for you.

Time Require­ments

Please arrive at least 20 min­utes before your sched­uled appoint­ment time to ensure all your details are filled in cor­rect­ly and to allow time for iden­ti­fi­ca­tion require­ments and pay­ment.
Each appoint­ment may take up to 2 hours to com­plete, includ­ing the Med­ical Exam­i­na­tion, pathol­o­gy and radi­ol­o­gy exam­i­na­tions, if required.
